April 2005 - MBNA Europe Bank Ltd complete phase 7 of the UK headquarters development. Phase 7 provides an additional 150,000 sq ft of office space in accordance with their overall development plan for the site. The plan includes significant travel plan targets aimed at reducing single occupancy vehicle travel to their site on the Park and which MBNA have been substantial strides in achieving.

January 2005 - As part of their continued expansion The Funding Corporation have relocated from Hilliards Court to Kingsfield Court on the Park. The building, previously occupied by Manweb as their head office, provides modern two storey accommodation.

April 2004 - MBNA Europe Bank Ltd complete phase 5 of their headquarters development providing a further 100,000 sq ft of new offices as part of their planned expansion. As part of the development significant environmental measures have been undertaken including provision of dedicated great crested newt and water vole sanctuaries.

July 2003
- Locally based developer Liberty Properties complete their Office Village development of 8 office units totalling 32,500 sq ft

- Cheshire County Council confirm that they have awarded the contract to dual carriageway the A483 road between the A55 roundabout and the Wrexham Road Park and Ride. The contract is due to commence on 4 August and is scheduled to last for 26 weeks.

September 2002 - Chester Business Park received North-west in Bloom's annual award in the 'New Landscaping' category.

December 2001 - Heronbridge House, the home to the headquarters of Shell Chemicals UK, one of the Park's original building owners, is acquired by MBNA Europe Bank for refurbishment and occupation as part of their planned expansion.

March 2001 - Liberty Properties sell their office investment occupied by Regus, the international serviced office provider, to a private investment company. Liberty have successfully developed a number of the buildings on the Park and still have further land for development.

August 2000 Chester Business Park was awarded the prestigious North West in Bloom’s Best Commercial entry 2000. It reflects the high standard to which the Park and occupiers maintain their environment. Chester Zoo won Best Leisure entry and Chester City won Best Centre.

August 2000 Chester developer, Liberty Properties, completed the first phase of Parkside. The building, the first 3 storey building on the Park, is occupied by Regus, the international serviced office provider.

As part of the requirement for this development a sanctuary for the great crested newt is created on the land between Regus and the Office Village.

July 2000 MBNA International Bank completed phase 4 of their European Headquarters.

December 1998 MBNA International Bank acquire the former BICC building, refurbish it and re-name it the Centre for Education and Excellence.

October 1998 Argyll Property Management acquires The Pavilions development from English Partnerships.

1998 Marks and Spencer Financial Services complete phase 2 of their UK headquarters.

February 1998 MBNA International Bank completed phase 3 of their European Headquarters.

September 1997 Scottish Widows complete ‘The Foundation’ to be occupied by the Bank of Scotland as a training centre.

August 1997 Bristol-Myers Squibb complete their European Service Centre.

1997 Liberty Properties complete the third and final building of their Kingsfield Court development to be occupied by Trinity Holdings, part of the Mirror Group.

1997 Wastdale Investments complete Carlton House in the Office Village. The building is occupied by Capital Incentives.
